Sustainability creates value

Sustainability is no longer a separate corporate initiative. Increasingly, it influences how projects are specified, procured and delivered.

Customers expect partners who can demonstrate measurable environmental performance, responsible business practices and transparent reporting alongside operational excellence.

At Losberger De Boer, sustainability is embedded in the way we design, manufacture, deliver and reuse our temporary and semi-permanent space solutions. Not because regulations require it, but because continuous improvement creates long-term value for our customers, our business and the communities we serve.

"Responsibility becomes meaningful when it is operational."

Arnout De Hair
CEO, Losberger De Boer Group

Our progress

Sustainability should be measurable. These results reflect the progress we're making across our organisation.

How we're making progress

Sustainability isn't defined by a single initiative. It's the result of continuous improvements across every part of our organisation.

Reducing environmental impact

Improving energy efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and using resources more responsibly across our operations.

Designing for circularity

Designing structures for repeated use, allowing components to be relocated, reconfigured and reused throughout their lifecycle.

Supporting people and partnerships

Creating long-term value by investing in safe workplaces and collaborating with partners who share our environmental, social and ethical standards.

Reporting transparently

Providing transparent reporting that helps customers, partners and stakeholders understand our progress and drive continuous improvement.

Creating impact where it matters

Sustainability in practice

When reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) forced schools across the United Kingdom to close, thousands of students faced disruption to their education.

Working with public authorities and school leadership, we delivered temporary learning environments that enabled students to return safely to the classroom within weeks while permanent solutions were developed.

Delivering world-class events responsibly

When SailGP came to Germany for the first time, we created premium hospitality overlooking the racecourse before removing the structure once the event concluded.

The project demonstrates how temporary infrastructure can create exceptional visitor experiences while leaving minimal permanent impact on the location.
